Travel Services Terms & Conditions

MK Dream Destinations

Effective July 15, 2025

In order to book travel services with MK Dream Destinations (“we,” “us,” “our”), you (“client,” “traveler,” or “you”) must acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming any travel arrangements.

 

Services

We provide travel planning services, including but not limited to destination research, travel recommendations, itinerary creation, reservations with travel suppliers (such as hotels, tour companies, car rental companies, etc.), and ongoing support before and during travel. We act as a travel advisor and intermediary and do not operate or control the suppliers we book on your behalf.

Booking Process

To begin the planning process, you may be required to complete an intake form, sign these Terms and Conditions, and pay a planning or consultation fee (if applicable). A booking is not considered confirmed until a deposit or full payment is received and the supplier issues a confirmation.

Fees & Payment

We may charge non-refundable service fees for planning, booking, or cancellations. Service fees are set on a case-by-case basis, as some vacations require more research, supplier interaction, and/or overall labor and time commitment.  These fees will always be disclosed, verbally and in writing, before work begins. Payments are accepted by credit card only. Service fee payments will be processed by our Host Agency, and the charge will appear on your credit card statement as PAYPAL *TRAVEL AGENT. You may or may not also receive a simple email receipt from PAYPAL listing a payment to OUTSIDEAGENTS.

When booking your vacation, MK Dream Destinations will collect your credit card information to submit directly to the travel supplier. At no time will the payment be processed by or submitted directly to MK Dream Destinations. We solely make the payments and keep record of them on your behalf.

Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

All cancellations are subject to the policies of the suppliers involved. Some bookings are non-refundable or carry penalties. In addition, modifying a reservation may result in changes to the overall cost of your vacation depending on supplier policy. We will assist you in understanding these policies, but we are not responsible for the refund process. Any planning fees paid to us are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation.

Travel Protection

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel protection to protect against unexpected events, including: cancellations, delays, illness, and medical emergencies. MK Dream Destinations is not a licensed insurance agent/agency, and is therefor not permitted to recommend or educate you on insurance policies. We can provide you with an array of options, and provide you with contact information of the parties qualified to help you. It is ultimately the traveler’s responsibility to choose whether they would like to purchase Travel Protection, and which policy is right for them. If you choose to decline travel insurance, you assume full responsibility for any financial losses incurred.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate legal names and personal information for bookings.
• Ensuring all travelers have valid passports, identification, visas, health documents, and required entry forms.
• Reviewing all confirmations, itineraries, and travel documents for accuracy and notifying us promptly of any discrepancies.
• Ensuring that final payment is made by the due date set by the supplier. We will send a reminder at least once per month leading up to due date. We can send more frequent reminders upon request.

Limitation of Liability

MK Dream Destinations is not an employee or representative of any travel supplier. We are an independent contractor and act solely as an agent for the travel suppliers. We are not responsible for acts, errors,  omissions, injuries, losses, damages, or delays caused by suppliers, government entities, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Changes and Disruptions

Travel plans are subject to change by suppliers. We will make every effort to notify you of significant changes and assist with alternative arrangements, but we are not liable for any changes, cancellations, or costs resulting from such events.

Communication

We strive to respond to all client inquiries within 24-48 hours. Phone calls are available by appointment. Current office hours will be listed on our website. Urgent matters during travel should be communicated via text message to the phone number provided to you as an established client. We will always prioritize client communication to those currently traveling. We will strive to be available to them after hours, but cannot guarantee immediate response between the hours of 7:00PM and 6:00AM EST.

Privacy Policy

We collect and use personal information only for the purpose of planning and booking your travel. Your information may be shared with travel suppliers solely as needed to complete your reservations. We do not sell or share your information for any purpose.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally. If necessary, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the state of Michigan, and governed by the laws of Michigan.

 

Acknowledgment

By proceeding with travel planning and/or booking services with/through MK Dream Destinations, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Signature of such acknowledgment, understanding, and agreement is required before moving forward with services.
